Component Balance Flags

A balance point’s participation in the component mass balance rule methodology is controlled by two attributes within balance point elements:

• ComponentBalanceFlag – A value of TRUE for the ComponentBalanceFlag marks the Element as participating in the component balance.
• ConstrainedComponentBalanceFlag – A value of TRUE for the ConstrinedComponentBalanceFlag enforces the component constraint equation in the component balance.
• BalancedComponentArray – A list of components to be balanced at a specific balance point. If not specified, all the components are balanced.

The balance points this affects include nodes, process units, and inventory (tank) elements.
